I've wanted a BB (beauty balm) cream for a while now, an Asian beauty staple, a BB cream is a moisturiser, primer and foundation in one product.
I'd done some research and it seems the best ones were from Asian brands. Although quite easy to obtain here in the U.K, the chinese versions would definitely not be cruelty free as all products made for sale in China have to be animal tested before sale. I'm not sure on those from Korea or other Asian countries.
I'd tried a Garnier and a Maybelline version earlier this year and I wasn't impressed. They just made my skin oily with very little coverage.
The other day whilst in Superdrug (my current favourite store!) I was looking at Gosh cosmetics to see if there were any other items to replace my bunny unfriendly items and they have released their own BB cream!
I bought the two lightest shades called 01 Sand and 02 Beige as one was too pale and the other slightly too dark. Although I have pale skin I have olive undertones, so I thought I'd mix the two shades together.
It is awesome! Perfect colour match and makes my skin look flawless! I didn't have high hopes at first as its not overly thick, but I was really impressed with it.
Whether you're going cruelty free or just looking for great make up, I highly recommend checking out Gosh. You can get it at any Superdrug in the U.K
